Entry Requirements: Students are required to have at least five subjects at a Grade 4 or above. This should include English, Maths and IT. A grade 4 or above in Computer Science is also desirable.

Course Content:

This two-year T-Level course has been created in collaboration with employers and
education providers to meet the needs of the digital industry. It prepares students for entry
into skilled employment, an apprenticeship or related technical study through further or
higher education. Digital Support Services T-Level offer students practical and knowledge-
based learning and on-the-job experience through industry placements.


All students will develop a general understanding of how digital technologies impact
businesses as well as the ethical, moral and legal implications of the use of technology
within a range of industries. They will use digital technologies to analyse and solve problems
and explore digital environments, including physical and virtual. Students will also
investigate the technical and human aspects of internet security. The course gives students
an opportunity to develop and understand a broad range of career roles within the digital
support services sector so they can move forward in their chosen field.

Future Prospects: This course is suitable for anyone wanting a career in digital infrastructure and support. Career options might include becoming an infrastructure technician or a role in IT support. Students can also progress into roles such as ICT support analyst, Digital applications
specialists. Many other skills gained on the course can be directly linked to digital
environments and support services.
