MATHEMATICS AS-LEVEL

Entry Requirements: Minimum 6 GCSEs at Grade 9-4 mainly at Grade 6 or above.
Mathematics at Grade 7 or above.

Course Content:

The AS course contains the same material as Pure, Statistics and Mechanics but taught more gradually over 2 years.

The AS course is designed to be studied in addition to your other three main A-level choices and is the perfect complement to any science A level or reformed A-level with increased mathematical content. These include DT, Economics, Psychology and Geography.

Future prospects:
Mathematics complements other subjects such as Physics, Economics and Design. It develops thinking and reasoning skills and is a great stepping stone for University.
