Open Evening

We are pleased to announce that our next Open Evening will be on Thursday 20 November 2025 5pm-8pm.

What to expect?

During our Open Evening, you will have the opportunity to speak to each of our subject teachers, listen to talks from Head of College Richard Marsh and students, as well as taking a look around our site.

At 5:15pm, 6:15pm and 7:15pm, Mr Marsh will deliver a 15-minute presentation in the Lecture Theatre (second floor). Please feel free to attend whichever time works best for you.

To make sure you are able to experience everything on the evening, please click the document below to see locations; save this on your phone, ahead of the evening! We will have additional signage around the site as well.

On the evening, please park in the School Car Park which can be accessed via the main gate on The Upper Drive (opposite Cottesmore Primary School). To then access the college, please exit the car park via The Upper Drive and then walk up to the College entrance gate.

There's no need to book and we look forward to seeing on the 20th!

Year 11 Taster Day - Save the Date!

We are delighted to invite Year 11 students from schools other than Cardinal Newman Catholic School to our College Taster Day, taking place on Thursday 27 November. External students should follow their current school’s absence procedures if they wish to attend.

Taster Day Details:

All students will follow a personalised timetable featuring four subject sessions.
Please select four subjects plus two reserve subjects in case of timetable clashes. You can find the course options on our website under the College Courses section.

For Internal Students (Cardinal Newman Catholic School):
No need to complete the online form as your subject choices have already been made during tutor time.

Taster Day timing: 8:55 AM – 12:15 PM

For External Students (not currently attending CNCS):
Update - This Event is now FULLY BOOKED

Taster Day timing: 12:15 PM – 3:30 PM

Timetables will be emailed to all students closer to the event.
