About the Course
Studying the AAQ in IT Data Analytics will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills that will help prepare you for progression to apprenticeships and university. This qualification might suit you if you want to apply what you learn to practical, real-life contexts, such as: Spreadsheet and Database software, Digital Marketing and Analysis of Big Data. You will be assessed through exams and coursework (60% coursework/40% examination). Through the coursework elements you will plan, develop and review a data model that you create, as well as a relational database and digital marketing campaign. Units of study include a range from: Fundamentals of data analytics Big data and machine learning Spreadsheet data modelling Relational database design Data and the Internet of Everything (IoE) Data visualisation Data and digital marketing This course can be taken alongside IT: Cyber Security and Networks
Future Prospects
This course is a stepping stone to a range of university courses including Business Analytics, Information Systems, Information Management, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Project Management and System Architecture.
