Newman Alumni secure Harlequins Contracts/Scholarships

Raff Hollister and Mattias Woollard - who have both recently finished their studies at Newman College - have just secured contracts through 100% scholarship at Harlequins Rugby Team.
At U16 Raff was actually dropped by Harlequins. He joined Newman College shortly after, leaving Seaford college on a 100% school sports scholarship, so he could gain the training and support for 3 terms of rugby a year. Raff has worked extremely hard towards winning his goal of full pro and go to university with no debt.
Mattias arrived at Newman College having only played 4 games of rugby ever. He worked within the 2nd team for 8 months before breaking into the 1st XV. 2 years into rugby he too became a full pro and won himself a full university scholarship.
This is such a great achievements for our Alumni and we can't wait to see what they achieve with their time at the club!
